Curriculum 

Our program is play based, emphasizes an emergent curriculum, and focuses on art and music.

 

1. Using the hands for art projects such as painting, play dough, playing with water, puzzles, cooking, etc.

2. Using the body for music, dance, dramatic play, and gymnastics.

3. Using our minds to explore, create and express ourselves in creative and fun ways.

Infant Curriculum: 8 weeks to 12 months

We understand that infants are constantly exploring and learn through their environment. In our infant program we provide a safe and fun place for infants to learn and grow through music, stories and sensory activities. These activities will help them build their cognitive, communication, emotional, fine motor, gross motor and social skills. Daily routines are adapted to best fit each infant's individual needs for sleeping, feeding and playtime.

Toddlers Curriculum: 13 to 24 months

Activities with toddlers include:

 

Singing songs, finger plays, improving their vocabulary through identification and repetition, learn to wash their hands and feed themselves, enjoy age-appropriate play and practice sharing with other students. We encourage the child to work at their own speed so they feel successful in the skills they are developing.

Pre-school Curriculum 3 years - 5 years 

​

Primary area of focus is on language arts and literacy, mathematics, exploring, social, emotional development, gross, fine motor development and character education.

Through age-appropriate play games, our Pre-school age have the ability to work at their own pace and learn to do tasks independently.

 

Activities for Pre-school include:

Practicing writing skills while writing childs name and simple words, completing patterns, charting the daily weather and learning about recycling, participate in family style dining, jump like a rabit and learn about sharing, clean up and honesty.
